RESIN ART
Each piece of multilayered resin art undergoes a creative process that spans between 9 and 14 days and has a minimum of six layers of work, each layer requiring 24-48 hour drying periods. I hand mix my colors with artist quality pigments and only use non toxic museum-conservation grade epoxy resin which seals and protects each piece and will not yellow with age. These originals are one of a kind with the depth of many layers creating an almost three dimensional effect where you can witness the captivating sparkles, color-changing and holographic effects that unfold within the intricate layers.
DESERT DREAMSCAPES
This series is inspired by the incredible wildlife and landscapes of the American West. The desert is an ancient and mystical place and throughout history people have traveled to it to experience enlightenment, altered states of awareness and total isolation. With this series you can escape the from the constrains of every day life and stargaze in the desert withholographic moon halos and thousands of stars while hand painted wildlife soar and leap above glittering cactus that punctuate the dreamy landscape. Beneath the many layers of resin are highly pigmented backgrounds that flow with a psychedelic palette and color changing pigments, the primitive crackling effect not only evokes the feel of the dry desert floor, but also reveals the cracks in our perceived reality. NAUTICAL WHIMSY
In my captivating Nautical Whimsy resin series, I delve into the fluidity of sea breezes and swirling waves.
